1. Slack
Slack is an app created for team communication. I use this to communicate with my clients, it’s so simple to use, you can create different Channels for different clients or different projects. Within slack, you can send attachments, pictures and videos. This is super great if you don't want to share your personal phone number with your clients. It can also help you to set boundaries around the times a client can contact you.
2. Monday
Monday is a task management tool. I use this to keep a track of all my upcoming tasks for clients. There is a variety of templates you can use for your business. For me, I love to use the dashboards so I can list out each task needed for a big project or keep track of weekly tasks that I need to complete.
3. Canva
Canva, I think everyone knows what Canva is but if not it’s a design program, that is free to use. I use Canva to create content for my clients. Whether this is a blog post image, Pinterest pin or Facebook group post, there are so many ways to use Canva. It can also be used to create projects of your own.
4. Last pass
Lastpass is an online program you can use to share passwords with clients or clients with us. This is something one of my clients put me onto. It is the best way to share passwords. When you are a VA it is inevitable that you are going to need a client password. LastPass allows your client to share that password with you, without you actually knowing their password. This is a great way for them to protect your client from being hacked if you get hacked.
5. Google Drive
I use the whole Google Suite, it’s amazing. But Google Drive is my daily go-to. It is the best way to store all your files and documents in the cloud. It’s simple to use. You can easily share links with your clients to access documents.
There are so many apps and this isn’t a list of everything I use but these are my five favourites. So tell me, which are your fave apps?
